Storytimes

 There are many benefits to attending storytime including social and emotional growth and development, reading and listening skills, expanding children’s minds, introducing them to new concepts and cultures, and most importantly developing a lifelong love of reading and books. Plus it’s just plain FUN!

Here’s what is available for Fall of 2021:

Preschool Storytime
Ages 3 – 5
Gales Ferry Library, 10:30 a.m.

A fun and energetic storytime at Gales Ferry Library.  Learning stations will be offered at the end of each storytime that will engage, entertain, and build the skills of the children who participate.  Registration is required and class size is very small to accommodate the size of the room. There are two six week sessions being offered in 2021 and sessions run September 14 – October 19 and November 2 – December 7.

Giggles and Wiggles
ALL AGES
Bill Library, 10:30 a.m.

A storytime for everyone!  Great stories, fun finger plays, and lots of dancing.  This will be held both outside and inside Bill Library as weather allows.  Registration is suggested to reserve your place but walk-ins are welcome as space allows.  There are two six week sessions being offered in 2021 and sessions run September 15 – October 20 and November 3 – December 8.
