I would definitely recommend this book. I breezed through it in two days and just finished another similar novel by Heather Morris “ Cilka’s Journey”. Although hard to get through in some parts, as is typical for WWII pieces, I thoroughly enjoyed them both. The author is well versed and skilled in her writing to make readers feel as if they are there in the book with the characters.
