Rivers, Roads and Rails: How Transportation Shaped the Development of Ledyard

2:00 p.m.
April 28
Bill Library

Town Historian Kit Foster will reprise this popular program, which tells how the town’s population centers, Ledyard Center and Gales Ferry, were influenced by the rivers, roads and rails that connected them to each other and to the world outside. The program is illustrated with many historic photos and will be the centerpiece of the spring Historical Society Membership Meeting.

The event is free and open to the public.
